The Difference between European and Imaging Thermography
Let's add an s onto that title and talk about the differences between the European computerized functional thermography and the camera imaging thermography.
European thermography uses an infrared sensor that takes exact temperature readings at over 100 locations on the skin before and after a cooling period.
Digital imaging thermography uses a camera that senses heat from a distance away from the body and creates an image only after a cooling period and is therefore not a true functional test.
However, that aside, both are endeavoring to better understand the physiology of the breast. In comparison, DITI catches a glimpse, while EU thermography uses an electron microscope.
